A daily feat of endurance run, without registration or finish line, by hundreds of thousands of commuters from six in the evening.

A short corridor between two office towers that, at peak hour, demands more time and fortitude than journeys ten times its length.

A continuous test of orientation in which underpasses, service lanes and U-turns conspire to defeat even the most confident navigator.

A continuous, decade-spanning record of the city’s signature atmosphere, preserved in photographs, filters and the surfaces of every home.

The residents who rise, commute and carry on through readings that would close other cities, asking only for a slightly better mask.
